When you feed food scraps to Reencle, you’re not only creating a full circular process in your home but also creating an environment in your kitchen that excludes banana flies and dripping and smelling brown bags, while doing a contribution to society by reducing CO2 emissions.
Reencle uses a natural aerobic process and microorganisms to break down your food scraps. The process is as simple as genius, your scraps break down into organic matter known as compost. Compost is nutrient rich and can be mixed with soil to help plants flourish, offering a variety of benefits to your soil and garden.
1. Set up Reencle with our microbes
Unpack your Reencle, dump in our packet of microbes, add 1.5 L water, and let the colony establish for 24 hours.
2. Dispose up to 1 kg of food scraps per day
Feed your compost by disposing of food scraps regularly.
3. Empty every 1-3 months or when max capacity is reached
See the markings on the inside of your Reencle on the left side, below and above the illuminated marking. They indicate the minimum and maximum levels. If you find them difficult to see, feel along the inside with your finger. When you reach the maximum level, scoop out compost until it reaches the minimum level.
The compost you have scooped out is now nutrient-rich fertilizer for your plants and garden.
