All composting relies on bacteria to break down food, and the Reencle composter accelerates this process by creating the perfect environment for decomposition from the start.

There’s no risk to children throwing food waste into the machine. However, please note that Reencle is quite heavy, especially when full, so be mindful of where you place it to prevent tipping over.
Does Reencle work on all types of food?
Yes! Tests have shown that Reencle can fully break down most food waste within 2 to 24 hours.
As a general rule, if the human stomach can digest it, so can Reencle. You can also add banana peels, eggshells, and other biodegradable scraps.
Avoid bones, shell fish and avocado nuts.
How quick does the Reencle decompose food?

Does the Reencle require alot of maintanence and care?
Not much! Unlike traditional composting that can be messy and smelly, Reencle requires minimal attention.
Depending on the type of food waste you add, you may need to occasionally add water. Over time, you’ll easily learn what good compost should look like just by checking inside the machine.
My Reencle has stopped working. What should I do?

Is the product well tested?
Yes! Reencle has been sold to over 200,000 customers, and our technology has been tested and perfected. The compost produced has also undergone independent testing and exceeds all fertilizer standards.
Do I need to add new microbes from time to time?
No, as long as you take good care of your Reencle, there’s no need to add a new microbe starter kit.
However, if you completely empty the machine or don’t use it for an extended period, you may need to purchase a microbe starter kit from www.vetasapiens.com.
I get a slight smell from my Reencle
A slight smell may occur from time to time. Please add bread or coffee ground to the Reencle. After approx 48 hours your compost should be re-balanced again.
If I leave for vacation for a couple of weeks, what should I do with my Reencle?
You can turn it off and re-start it after your holdays, to avoid the compost to be constantly heated during your absence. However, if you keep it on during your absence you won’t be doing anything wrong.
The motion sensor shows a red light and is not opening the lid.
Make a restart of the Reencle by unplugging it from the wall socket for 30 seconds. Then plug it back in and press the power On button.
How should I mix my compost when used in my garden?
Please note that this is compost, a fertiliser of great quality. Mix 20% compost with 80% soil to get a healthy and sound soil for your plants.
