More people on earth live better and have a higher standard of living than ever before. But something has been lost in the process. The way we have formed modern society has come to a point where abstract technologies are doing more than humans for society.
Humans are still biological, and we are dependent on our surroundings regardless of if it’s constructed or grown. The pace of evolution is much slower than the progress of technology and we need to adapt to everything all the time, all at once.
This creates a distance between us humans and the society we live in today. The balance has in some cases been lost.
The usage of screentime is a great example – How could we predict that in just 20 years EVERYTHING would change and become this static life of looking at a screen all day?
How does this lack of balance affect our wellbeing, our independence and our basic dignity as human beings? That’s what we at Veta want to explore.
Join us in the journey to explore humans place in an advanced world and together we can reconnect with nature again.
I am one of the founders of Veta and I would love to hear your opinion.

Really interesting take on evolution. What do you suggest is “good” technology?
